Re: IMPEACHMENT ... How many Articles?
Yep. The sitting President has, in fact, NEVER been voted out. Historically speaking, both previous impeachment proceedings conducted by the Senate resulted in acquittal of the Chief Executive.

Re: IMPEACHMENT ... How many Articles?
Yep. OS should do a little basic civics research - The Government (either Congress or any Federal agency) can issue an administrative subpoena without seeking approval from a judge - both Republican and Democrats having been doing this for YEARS - I don't recall you objecting or expressing concern b...

Re: Orange Duce
A very smart fellow (former World Chess Champion Garry Kasparov) reflects on living in a totalitarian state and has a warning for all of us His words and worldview are important especially given his real-life experience. "I lived in the post-truth Soviet world and I hear its echoes in Trump's A...

Its not NATO leaders fault - common sense is when one acts like a clown people often have a good laugh at said clown immediately following.   What's the over/under that TrumptyDumpty even knows that his armed forces are deployed in the Baltics? or where the Baltics are located? remin...

Except per Jill Wine-Banks (one of the Watergate prosecutors) he got a key detail WRONG and she ought to know (and frankly so should he) "Prof Turley just misrepresented SCOTUS Watergate decision. Court ruled against Nixon and for Special Prosecutor and ordered President to turn evidence to cou...

Re: media matters
Why is Al Roker wearing a motorcycle helmet while covering the balloon deployment at the Macy's Turkey Day parade in NYC?
He declared they were all safe after a confrontation with a fellow dressed as a stick of butter.
No wonder media has such a bad rep.

Re: IMPEACHMENT ... How many Articles?
My point is not complicated. The NYT has become, by their own admission, a one story newspaper. Trump Bad. Every day there must be a headline story that supports that meme. That is what their readers demand & pay for. I recommend the Showtime documentary series The Fourth Estate. It's entertain...

Re: Orange Duce
That all may be true but have to believe we will all see Gallagher throughout the campaign and on FoxNews which tells me all I need top know of CiC's motives in being involved in this case so publicly. I'll repeat that the military should not be used to advance a political agenda in this fashion. Th...

Re: Orange Duce
So what if Trump intervened & he benefits politically ? Not exactly something that should be involved in a criminal case within UCMJ don't you think? I'd have a lot more sympathy if CiC resolved it all privately (he would not have to have given up any authority to make the ultimate decision) fo...

Can you give just ONE example of where "rabid" tRump supporters primaried an R that did NOT support him ? I believe Congressman Mark Sanford (R-SC) was primaried in 2018 and he certainly did not support Trump. He lost the 2018 primary and the GOP nominee who defeated him in that primary l...

We know we're in trouble when a Federal District Court judge references Orwell's Animal Farm in a ruling about Trump administration "All animals are equal, but some animals are MORE EQUAL than others." references acts of no accountability by the Executive Branch. Among her other greatest h...

Re: Progressive Ideology
Well for Sicilians and others from Southern Italy it wasn't always so easy - not to take issue with Dmac's assertions in many cases and places but elsewhere (like New Orleans) it may have been quite different and certainly more than just name-calling. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2019/10/12/o...
