Re: Ivy League 2020
My guess is that Cornell just is more acceptable of loopholes. They did the same with Pannell. Yale felt like they could justify Ierlan because he hadn't gone 4 years at Yale. If school directors of Princeton really wanted they could've had Sowers and Robertson back. But chose to have a strict image...

Re: Here we go again with the Face Off
I like a long faceoff when the players are rotating, battling to get under the other players' stick and doing everything to get controll of the ball. But the most common reason for a long faceoff is that the players get 50/50 of the ball and lock-up in a stalemate. Players move their weight back and...

Re: Rules Meeting
Hypothetical: FOGO picks up the face off, goes straight to the cage and shoots. Hits the pipe, that team gets the rebound. Say that takes six seconds. That team would lose fourteen seconds of possession time, no? Good point about resets. I don't want to give coaches more reasons to don't go to cage

Re: Division II maximum number of games-20-21'.
[/quote] With 85% of those surveyed supporting some type or reduction I would be amazed if this was not approved. Also, if this large a group supports this type of legislation it appears that there are more than a few schools that will be struggling to support their athletic teams. I hate to see thi...

Re: Here we go again with the Face Off
In televised games with replay the time is not bad factor. The PLL got it a bit more time efficient with having markings one the field of where to place the ball and sticks. They take 15 seconds to show celebrations and 30 seconds for replays and breakdowns. Then right back to action when the whistl...
