Re: COACHING CAROUSEL 2021
Football scholarships are different than non-revenue sports. if Cuse offers free tuition to coaches then they will not count towards their limit of scholarships. They are put on a different GL. Lax getting more and more like BBall every day and not in a good way. Club lax is almost as bad as AAU 3 ...

Re: COACHING CAROUSEL 2021
A Gait on the sideline for 'Cuse would be interesting. Would be even more interesting if it wasn't Paul... Calling it back on May 27th Please ... folks have been speculating for decades about Gait coaching Syracuse. I’ve done so in years past, and did so again just this last May 17. https://fanlax....

Asst new program vs head coach at alma mater. Dream job? But would they offer Dowd is in Europe, happy, having fun. She didn't like bei...

Re: 2021 Tewaaraton watch list released
Im certainly not going to go into what assistant coaches or other players have said through various people to me.... Lets just leave it as my opinion that thats how she plays the game. I guess I must be the only one who thinks this. Thats ok - I can live with that. Ive never said shes not talented ...

Re: Syracuse 2021
Physical altercation between Scanlan and a Syracuse student who is female. Title IX is involved I’m sure which is a good thing.
The team stands up and doesn’t want to be associated with that.
I’m impressed with the players right now.

Re: UNC vs BC - Saturday March 6 - 11:00am
I don't think anyone here will say that North isn't an incredibly gifted player and is fun to watch. She has grown a lot as a player as well. She out there on the field directing traffic. Definitely not something she was doing a couple years ago. But go watch the UNC game. Just under 24 to go in the...

Re: UNC vs BC - Saturday March 6 - 11:00am
Charlotte North needs to learn to pass. UNC at points had 4+ players slide to her and all she did was continue to hold on to the ball and dodge.
Until she learns to get assists, she will continue to be the second best player on that team.

That’s a lot more than just the goal scorers stick on the ground after that last goal.

Re: Transfer Portal
She’s a very confident player. I think she thought MD UNC Northwestern Cuse would be all about getting her into their program. She has the stats to show she’s a great player. But I think the programs I listed. Mainly the first two didn’t want anything to do with her. I’m curious to know your theori...

Re: Transfer Portal
Charlotte North is going to BC. BC lost a chunk of its defense and the Big 3. She has to sit out a year and doesn’t have a solid picture of what the Eagles will look like in a year. She entered the transfer portal for at least one of the following reasons 1. Be closer to home. That’s not the case he...

Re: Women’s Lacrosse Needs Parity
It benefits the late bloomers that want to go to a top program. It does not help parity. It’s the rich get richer for UNC MD etc. Now those mid level schools have no late bloomers to grab because the top schools haven’t filled their recruitment classes during players freshman and sophomore years.

Re: Women’s Lacrosse Needs Parity
Any hint of parity went away with the new recruiting rules. The big programs had their 9th and 10th grade HS classes essentially filled out because they would lose out to other schools that offered the top girls early. That left the late bloomers and diamonds in the rough for the mid-majors to picku...

Re: Coaching Carousel
Bokker to OSU??? That's an easy decision if I was her. She can afford to buy a house now. She can find assistants who don't have to live in a shanty because it costs to much to live out there Doesn't have to talk the east coast kids into coming all the way across the country. Travel for games sucks....
