Re: NAIA Women 2021
Saw the NAIA Quarterfinal match-ups and... Why aren't Concordia (Mich.) and Georgetown (Ky.) playing? Especially Concordia. And both are better choices than Lawrence Tech (Mich.) and Benedictine (Kan.), no? Concordia didn't play anyone, conference only really hurt them. Georgetown is on a downward ...

Re: Upper Iowa
Its all on the coaching. Saying its tough to recruit is one thing but you have to know your setting. If your at small school in the middle of nowhere you have to take any kid you can get then find your high level players from there. Fielding a team comes 1st, success can follow. To many Midwest prog...

Re: Future Programs
No way TWU is going D2 that school can barely stay open as is. They have no facilities, barely any academic programs. TWU is usually a pit stop for players to transfer to another school after a year or 2.
This sounds like an idea that a TWU player made up and posted....

Re: Benedictine
BC is a good school, really good athletic department compared to the rest of the NAIA. They could jump D2 if they wanted. Now they are in the middle of nowhere Kansas but hey most D2 schools are in the middle of the sticks. As for where they stack up to NCAA programs....I wouldn't rank lacrosse prog...

Re: Is a 2021 season going to happen?
Speaking with a number of D1 coaches here is what I have learned. Most schools wont play a team unless they are testing as much as they are. They are also not doing any flights. Only games they can bus to, its still unknown if they will let them stay overnight. My guess is that will be a no go for m...

https://lmurailsplitters.com/news/2020/9/9/joe-wilson-hired-to-lead-lmu-mens-lacrosse.aspx Seems to be a quick process, but LMU has their Guy! They'll hire anyone nowadays !! Really hope this guy has matured over the years. I had dealing with him years ago and he was not a pleasant person to ...

Re: Young Harris lacrosse
This coaching search is possibly the most public/well leaked search I have ever seen... Also saw this today: https://ncaamarket.ncaa.org/jobs/13892247/head-men-s-lacrosse-coach *Posted TODAY* Ill be honest this means they haven't even started interviews. I've posted jobs on NCAA job board, the post...

Prepare for No NAIA Lacrosse this Spring
I recently spoke to a number coaches along with a few ADs....and the news about the spring isn't looking good for NAIA Men's Lacrosse. Here is the breakdown....With all of NAIA sports moving to the spring the NAIA is floating the idea of not supporting Invitational sports. This list includes Beach V...

Re: UAH Men's LAX
The hire was clearly based on recruiting. These schools want numbers, they couldn't care less about winning. They want the numbers and roster size to be up in the 60's. Doyle comes from Montevallo who is notoriously known for recruiting any kid with a pulse. Most if not all the schools in this new c...

Re: 2020 Coaching Carousel
Program has never won a game. They need to drop it to a funded club program not NCAA. Build up a team at that level and move back to D3.LacrosseFan33 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 23, 2020 12:08 am North Central University is open
Will be the 3rd coach since the program began in Fall 2016.

Re: UAH Men's LAX
All those southern schools need to get out of the GLVC. They dont need them anymore anyways. With everything going on travel doesnt make sense anymore for it. They need to get the GSC going with adding lacrosse. A few of those schools dont have football. It makes perfect sense for them to add lacros...

Re: UAH Men's LAX
I have seen a few schools have coaching changes and outside of a small post on their athletic website. Sawanne still hasn't posted their job. With everything going on it would be a strange time to resign or fire a coach.

Re: NAIA LACROSSE TEAMS
well there were quite a few programs with very low numbers, if they have kids transfer out to stay closer to home or incoming kids don't come it could be very interesting. But to be honest if they think that is the case they should be telling people now not waiting till school starts and then tell ...

Re: NAIA LACROSSE TEAMS
I am hearing that schools are telling coaches to rework schedules to not have so many overnight trips. Also heard from another conference that they will only play in conference games. NCAA is cutting back on the number of games allowed in a season. Would hope NAIA would follow that model but who kno...

Re: PLL Catch All
Talking with a few guys I know who play PLL they don't expect it to be back next summer as of now. Hopefully that changes but with the cancellation of this summer to a tournament its not good. Before the lock down they asked for more money and the investors said no. Cut to May and most investors are...

Re: West Coast D2 future powerhouse
Heard from a former player that the school is about to announce its closing due to low enrollment. If athletes got wind of that prior to the season I can see why they would can the year. I don't except a new west coast D2 powerhouse rising up anytime soon.
