Re: Yale v UVa - should VA bother showing up?
Even with a detailed analysis, there is a subtle tone that Yale was the much better team and that UVA just had a great day, that it was an "upset." I don't agree with that, at all. As it was, Ierlan won 75% at the X, which is damn strong, yet the game was not close on the scoreboard or to ...

Re: Yale v UVa - should VA bother showing up?
On the issue of TD, I don't know what Yale fans want more than 75% success rate in the biggest game of the year. That's a superstar performance, but it's rare for a superstar to win a national championship by himself.

Re: Yale v UVa - should VA bother showing up?
Why save TD, all he did was dominate. Yale didn't have anyone other then him, though. The rest of the lineup was a mismatch that was obvious athletically, physically, and depth-wise. TD is deserving of all of his awards, and darn near won a national championship from the x all by himself. Under thos...

Re: Yale v UVa - should VA bother showing up?
by Matnum PI » Mon May 27, 2019 2:22 pm Brook, agreed. Pre-Lars, UVA's D was awful. Consistently one of the worst in D1 Men Lacrosse. And for no good reason. They had talented D-men. Not a good reason; A bad one. JOE STARSIA LASAGNA You're kidding right? UVA lacrosse had a little bit of success und...

Re: Yale v UVa - should VA bother showing up?
Kinda kills me that some are making it seems as though Ierlan had a "meh" game. That dude was a beast, and basically kept Yale in the game by himself. UVA rotated at FOGO a good bit, looking for the fatigue factor. Didn't happen. UVA's FOGOs are pretty good, but Ielan controlled the action...

Re: VIRGINIA Lacrosse
Littlepage doesn't get the credit he truly deserves for taking a decent but not great athletic department and making bold moves to win championships up and down the line. It was time for him to go, and then of course there was his episode in football that really was pretty ugle (still recovering, bu...

Re: VIRGINIA Lacrosse
Hello from a new poster with Hoos in his name. Greetings. That was a helluva final four, we can all agree on that. I didn't join to gloat, although I was pretty hacked off by the sanctimony on another thread. Always respect your opponent, and respect the game. Best team won, and it was clear and tho...

Well Rasheed, I'd comment about how it isn't nice to disrespect anyone. Instead I'll just show you.
