I would say as a coach involved the biggest thing I’ve seen is the lack of commitment from players. Every team barely fielding enough to play. Happens every year but this year seems more extreme than others.

Haven’t seen a real juggernaut yet.

ooks like a big shake up coming in this week's Rankings update. The Top 4 are looking like Oakton, Madison, Centreville, Yorktown (in no particular order).

Ash has been great for the sport and was/is director of 3D lax.

I think Coach Dana is slowly gaining an edge on Coach Cash. Especially since merge in offseason with Pride program.

I’m not an expert of Loudoun teams but watch out for Independence & Lightridge making moves to the top.

Always a great early season post from Buckylou. Great knowledge and a reputable top 15.

I would give the edge to Pool 2. All 3 teams swept pool 1 in finals.

I have seen both Oakton and Yorktown on the field at STJ. It’s hard to get a feel for the teams 7v7. Centreville is moving in right direction and I believe you are right about the other 2 being the teams to beat. We will see. Less than 2 months first games that count.

100% totally agree. Battlefield lost half starting lineup.

Woodson Elite League has been competitive in general when teams could play. All the rainouts have killed its momentum it seems, between that and missing players for a myriad of reasons. Too bad they can't get the turf fields all day to help ensure games will happen. Hopefully they extend the season...

Anything on the home front? Quiet in here. Some really nice commits happening across the area. Woodson Elite league has been competitive though teams have been missing players. Good for them to get out and at least play together before winter league.
