Re: Penn. I had heard that Handley, Gergar, Farrare, and Bond will return next year. This seems true as Penn Men's twitter put out something today honoring their graduating players and none of the above players were in the photo. There were 14 seniors on the roster and just 10 in the photo. If this ...

Stiffler, I sure hope you're right. If true, Quakes have a great shot again and will start the year in the top 10. BC

A couple of guys that I think could be flying under the radar for this job and haven’t been mentioned (at least I didn’t see them). In no particular order. Penn v Cabrini.
Good on Murphy to getting a game.
Though I notice that neither Goldner (A) or Handley (M) are in the starting line-up?
That said, they are listed on the roster on Penn's website.
Any idea if these guys are still with the squad or have they sought transfers or are hurt?

Coach Saint Laurent was an VMI assistant and then spent years at W&L, so knows the area. Is also a veteran. He'd be a great catch for VMI.

Re: The Year of the Mercenary - 2021
Penn and other Ivies won't allow grad students to play, so the only option for Teat, Gallagher, etc would be to take another undergrad year and add a second major or something like that. Doable, but very expensive.

Re: Cornell coach search
While I'd hate to see it (as a Quaker), I think the Big Red might look to Penn's current assistant coach (actual title is associate head coach) Mike Abbott. Abbott is no stranger to #315. I believe he is from there, played at Cortland and UVA (transfer), coached at Cortland for five years and spent ...

Re: Ivy League 2020
From that US Lacrosse Magazine article, it seems Penn, Dartmouth, and Brown are "trying to work with senior student athletes". Would that mean helping them do a 5th year and a second major? Thats one way to stay around as an undergrad. There was no indication from Dartmouth and a Dartmout...

Hey, Penn Partisan here, but no one should take Nova lightly (#14 team in polls) and St Joe's has a legit top 10 FOGO and are 4-1. Two very tough games on Philly. Quakes need these!

Re: Ivy League 2019
As Orfling states it seemed like the seeding committee had made ups its mind (Browns AD Hayes made a similar comment in his selection night interview). Its a damn shame as Im near certain now that the Penn-Yale III game was the defacto national title game. And near certain that Penn would be playing...
