Re: Recruiting
Father of a '27 here, so am just trying to better understand what (might) happen next year. I have two related questions: Let's assume there will be about 1,000 D1 commits. Does it break down something like: 500 committed by October 1, 800 by November 1, 900 by December 1, etc.? Or does it string ou...

Re: Coaching Carousel 2024
We will see soon enough, but there is another T winner with some coaching success - Jen Adams - would she leave Loyola where she has been since 2009 for this opp?

Re: Recruiting
QQ: Is it just the top 100-ish recruits who get contacted in 9/1? Or is it pretty widespread (as in, all ~127 D1 programs are doing some outreach - whether that is text or email)?

Re: 2025 roster limits.
surprised that women's roster caps (in lax) are lower than mens, given title IX need to have sports like womens lax/soccer to make up for the men's football numbers

Re: Recruiting
Interested to know if the situation discussed on the transfer portal thread played into the decomitting Regardless what a haul for Clemson who already had the best midfielder in Pencek now they add the #1 recruit and top attackman / QB in Spallina and now Eisfeld. Seen a few people mention “there’s...

Re: Recruiting
Yep. It’s all one big Ponzi Scheme. Starts with Colleges and their camps right down to the Showcases and to the Clubs. They make a ton of money but are all dependent on each other to keep bringing in the kids. That’s why college coaches get paid at these events. And don’t kid yourself. There is no ...

Re: Recruiting
My daughter is a 27 and has started emailing coaches to express interest, share accolades, etc. I understand that coaches don't really start looking at 27s until next summer. But my question is: In y'alls experience is there any value in emailing now? Do coaches look at their inbox and say, okay, sh...

Re: Recruiting
Hey Folks,
How much sway do D3 coaches have with admissions? I assume it likely differs by school, lacrosse team success, and coach tenure, but is there a general sentiment that D3 can or cannot help with admissions?

Re: Northwestern "Hard Times"
To bring this back to the documentary: The sequence between minutes 53 and 56 minutes (Mahoney's goal v. Michigan) is one of the most powerful scences I've watched in a long time. The importance of the moment, the look on her face, the joy from her teammates. It's chill-inducing. Ever more when you ...

Re: Recruiting
Looking for some advice here. My daughter is a 2027. She was a late starter (7th grade), but has picked up the game quickly. Her school coach and local club coach both say she can play at the next level. She will be trying out for a more known/national club that will require a lot more out of state ...

Re: Penn 2023
Leo Hoffman coming in next year. Top 5-10 incoming freshman probably isn’t much of an exaggeration. He looked pretty capable in the two games I viewed, midfielder which is what they need. This just passed 5th year class got a quarterfinal and might have gone further except they had to play Yale. La...

Re: NCAA Selection Discussion - Containment Thread
Seems like Yale was last in and Penn or Denver was first out. It's academic now, but here is the side by side of these 3 teams: Yale RPI - 9 Top 5 wins - 0 Top 6-10 wins - 2 Top 11-15 wins - 0 Top 16-20 wins - 2 Wins v. teams in the tourney - 1 Head to head in the group - beat Denver, lost to Penn B...
