Re: Best Examples Of DI Coaches Who Do More With Less?
Delaware should be a perennial top 15-20 program every year, same with their women's program. Great location, great stadium, great campus, strong enough academics. I put them in the underachieve category.

Re: Rutgers 2024
If Rutgers beats UMass and can manage to beat Ohio State and Michigan, they will need to steal a game against either Hopkins and or Penn State, both of who are HOME games. Then win a Big tourney semi final game. That will put them as one of the final 2-4 "bubble" teams and their RPI will b...

Re: Polls
If JMU wins draws, their experienced offense may be the difference in the big games going forward as they are playing at a very high level. Defense is coming along nicely after having lost two defensive, program stars in Matey and Durkin. Several of the young players have athleticism and make plays ...

Re: Big 12 Lacrosse
Florida leaving portends something else happening? More conference realignment? But really, having JMU in the conference was perfect and with USF coming in, another good program. I guess they are concerned about losing in state.

Re: Games Today
To be more clear, the JMU fouls were more egregious according to the stripes, not just greens but 7 yellows. That is why the score became so close but again, you have to credit UConn for coming back. They had more draws and many more shots than the Dukes. IMO, the officials are becoming too much par...

Re: Games Today
Interesting stat for the JMU-UConn game today. Fouls in the second half were 20 for JMU and 2 for UConn. Hmmm. Credit to UConn for making the second half comeback but…..

Re: Rutgers vs. Villanova Men’s Lacrosse Scrimmage
Villanova always has very solid teams. They did not look as strong today. Rutgers was down 0-2 and completely dominated every aspect of play finishing on a 21-1 run. Lots to like about the new players mixed in with the known. Goalie Stoller is outstanding. Kelly and Krummenacher are great additions ...

Re: Rutgers 2024
Rutgers will surprise people this year with Kelly and Krummenacher? on attack helping to free up Scott. Stoller, the goalie is very good and the defense will be a major surprise. The "Nascar" style of play is back as they have added some pretty good athletes to the SSDM group. If Rutgers c...

Re: Team’s budget vs average attendance
Lacrosse is wildly popular and growing all over the country, especially around metropolitan areas (suburbs). The college lacrosse attendance issue is not correlating due to playing in incredibly cold weather and when that finally warms up, it is then competing with youth and club lacrosse. Moms, dad...

Great breakdown of the top 50 players and those that were snubbed. They have a better feel and insight.

Re: IL's Top 50 Men's College Lacrosse Players For 2024
Agreed. Does the staff ask the player's coaches their opinions or the opposing coaches their opinions? Knobloch (33) production was down? Do you think it had anything to do with Rutgers playing 5 less games than the previous year's final four run? Is there another two way middy that plays full field...

Re: 2024 Season Predictions
I don't see JMU in the final four as one recently posted but possibly an Elite 8 run again. They have to figure out their defensive personnel and should but they lost Durkin and Matey, two stars and lost a solid starter in Thistlewaite to injury. They do return multi year starters Pirisino and Marsh...
