Re: 2024 Bracketology
Army (one time #1 in the country) does not qualify? Off the top of my head, I can’t think of another team that went from #1 to out-of-the-tournament in six weeks. BU had their number this year. It would have been fun to see Army in the big dance where anything could happen. Rutgers one year and Ver...

Re: Brown 2024
End of the month? How much due diligence can they do if FF coaches are on the list? (ACs in that case of course.) Thorough investigation vs don't let our guy get plucked by someone else, I guess. It's early, but the women's team looks to have made a good choice. 🤞🏻 for the men. You can get a 50 odd...

Re: Brown 2024
Brown’s AD intends to make Brown Lax a destination program - just as Yale, Princeton, Cornell and Penn have become destination coaching positions - no reason Brown’s coaching position can’t be the same……the will is there…..the hidden gem of the Ivies … Cornell loses all their coaches. Tierney left ...

Re: 2024 Bracketology
Depending on travel considerations they’ll get liek a 4-5 opponent I suspect. That win over Penn could easily push them past Towson and
They should good otherwise.

Re: Cornell 2024
It hurts to watch teams like Denver and JHU and PSU lay complete eggs in the league tourneys with no risk of losing a bid and have those putrid efforts in somewhat meaningless games cost Cornell a bid. Couldn't agree more. I understand the NCAA wanting to create some end of season drama but if ther...

Re: Brown 2024
Kevin Casese would have no interest …he left Lehigh to position himself for the Duke job or some other perrenial Top Ten program…..Ryan Wellner would be an experienced and exceptional candidate who would take a call but would have to hear an outstanding proposal to consider a move based on the leve...

Re: Brown 2024
Respectfully, can you name one thing JT did wrong at Amherst that would support a foolish statement like this? It's not what JT did, it's the fraidy-cat nature of university administrators, especially in the current environment. The very last thing the Brown admin needs right now is a new controver...

Re: MAAC 2024
I would NOT want to draw SHU in the tournament.... Good for them but they’re just a middling NEC team that came into The MAAC and ran things. I’ll reiterated this team isnas good as some of the ones that had Saggese and Tuttle IDC who you are...if your goalie plays like that you can beat anyone.......

Re: Hobart 2025
Nothing wrong with criticism. That's part of the job. Raymond doesn't care about Fanlax ... or at least he shouldn't. His sense of himself as a coach comes from elsewhere. Look at who he's surrounded by. Hobart Ice Hockey National Champs back to back in a field larger than D1 lacrosse. Hobart baske...

Re: Hobart 2025
I will add one thought to all - whether that be alumni like us, current parents -or players, or if true, current coaching staff (which they certainly can join in the fun!) There seems to be a theme around what happens in practice and locker room that is either good or bad and most of us have no ide...

Re: Hobart 2025
I agree that some of these numbers are far fetched. While I believe that a lot of our injuries are due to amount of mass, I don't think packing on excessive amounts of weight is the answer. I believe that these guys need two spend some time on the wall. In my day, the stick was an extension of the ...

Re: Finals - 2024
C Kav needs to step up/ Stating the obvious but... Every CKav +1 will be a Duke D -1. You need minimum ND goals and those minimum goals need to be goals or assists by CKav. Unless he scores 10 goals and they only score ten goals…I’ve got a ceiling to hit before I worry about that. Need the far goal...

Re: Coaching Carousel 2024
Time to recognize Coach Conry as a top-tier HC. It would be a mistake to attribute Michigan’s consecutive runs (2023-2024) to B1G tournament championships to having their backs against the wall. Conry has built very good teams that play physically and aggressively all over the field. He hasn’t buil...

Re: Hobart 2025
Let’s get on topic: jobs are description of duties and responsibilities and expectations. For all the moral talk there’s next to no talk about the wave of layoffs that includes Gray. But when a nice guy who the locals like comes up…no way we can discuss actual liek performance and accountability. Th...

Re: Hobart 2025
I know im probably wasting my Saturday night on here, but I believe what I believe. I think that if we are not in the locker room or at practice every day the truth is that we really don’t know what’s going on and this is nothing but speculation. From everything I’ve heard, I really do think the gu...

Re: Hobart 2025
To be honest, I don’t think Raymond cares at all what’s going on with this forum. Good coaches focus on what matters, and this is not it. This upcoming season they need to work harder than they ever had and perfect their craft. Saint Joes won by a larger margin today than they did against the state...
