Re: Hobart 2019

20-14, think we’ll get better FO, Goalie and defensive play and similar offenses.

Re: Towson 2019

Different subject. 2019 attackman, non committed recruit. Seems taylor made for the Tigers. Wonder if they have spoken to this guy or maybe the Tigers have filled their quota for next year. Re: Brown 2019

Are you the same person here and on LP who keeps talking about Richmond leaving the socon for the ACC? No specific comment on that other than to contextualize your attack on Browns program.

Re: Hobart 2019

Who’s that #19 dude ? He’s pretty good ! Stone, you should check out our FR A Jason knox, from a lacrosse family, won ROY for Burlington Juniors two years ago. I had also seen a post about California lacrosse kids from you and wanted to point out one of our most underrated players, sr Stanny Gilber...

Re: Inside Lacrosse rankings

Thanks CU for posting the actual numbers. Farfromgeneva's memory was better than mine -- looks like the average is in the 20-24% range and not slightly lower as I'd recalled. Again I'm not suggesting there's a formal rule, but it's my impression this is the ballpark range they try to maintain for r...

Re: Hobart 2019

All the handwringing I’ve done aside, I’m going 14-11 good guys today. Don’t see Gates offense doing much lately combined with a presumed faceoff advantage.

Re: Hobart 2019

The only chance at an at large resides with an upset of Cuse not the Gate game. We’re coming off a bad year and a volatile decade, but this schedule we all saw was pretty soft compared with any in the d1 era. PSU and GTown fell off replaced by UVM and St Bonaventure. Gate having lost a string means ...

Re: Inside Lacrosse rankings

I thought they’re was some average number like 22-24% around but that’s my understanding. Probably best path would be to incrementally add two and change the math on who’s in and who has to play a play in with the potential to see greater breadth of post season participation, even if slightly dilute...

Re: W&L 2019

How’s Stu Greenspan been for you guys? He was stuck in a real logjam at hobart but thought even though w&L had some returning talent that he’d be running on a first line and contribute pretty fast. See he’s had a few goals but haven’t followed closely.

Re: Hobart 2019

No doubt Sefcik was excellent and made some terrific doorstep stops. Seemed like a lot of low shots even after it became evident that was his strong suit, especially after the knee got hurt. Their FOGO was surprisingly effective too vs Ped. Most teams win against him via wing play (Dan Ryan was exce...

Re: Hobart 2019

Good win, 5-1 now and agate just lost to canisius 5-1 (those weak early opponents are now above .500 at 4-3 and 4-2 with wins over RMU, Colgate and St John’s in the last two weeks). Refs blew and at home. Our guys were getting baseball batted in the head and knocked down amongst other absurd calls. ...

Re: THE Hopkins Lacrosse Fallout Shelter (44, we want more!)

.............AND none of these schools has the historical significance of lacrosse to the school that Hopkins has......... This is the point. Lax has a legacy, and Hopkins is the only elite college that has that be-a-part-of-a-legacy image. Hop can only hold this mantle for a few more years, though...

That penalty call on madonna is a joke. Those home Wagner refs like at sHU are always shady and bad but that’s beyond pathetic.

Re: Hobart 2019

Anyone think Hirsch was a better D coordinator than turri who got a huge bump from having Waldron at Binghamton? Delphi is 2x NJCAA DPOY and Mueller is good enough to start on most programs. Throw in AAs Dan Ryan and EBF and this D should be way, way better
