Re: Games Today
Game time listed for Army/Navy was 2:48. Announcers engaging in a little exaggeration fun to embellish their distaste for the new rules. It was an incredibly physical game. Emily Messinese reportedly lost front teeth and went back in the game (!). Navy was impressive esp since their top player Yovi...

Re: WLax Broadcasts and Publications: Comments/Reviews
How many times did the announcers in the Duke/Louisville game talk about how terrible it was that DeSimone was the victim of a foul on the play at the end of the 3rd where she trucked the Cardinals player, got a yellow card and injured herself? You'd have thought it was the other way around.

Yes they did. See if you can understand this logic. It’s perfectly OK if Northwestern schedules 15 games. It’s a crime against humanity if North Carolina schedules 15 games. Yes I remember he roasted unc for that….i guess NU is exempt from criticism:/ It's because NU is one of his many, multiple &q...

Re: Penn at Yale Sunday afternoon on ESPNU
Anyone catch this game? The broadcast production was top shelf. Everything was chef's kiss great from the field mics to the camerawork, multiple angles, replays, shot clock display--the works. Thoughts on Charlotte North as a color commentator? I enjoy her apparent and excellent technical knowledge...

I haven't seen Taylor one tenth as much as many here but I haven't seen all the flopping she's accused of doing by the many here. Very good, and strong, player. They are just jealous that KAH is able to evaluate talent much better than their teams. From IL honorable mention to 1st year, day 1 start...

Literally the only person on this board talking about "Win the draw, with the game".

The IL list is a joke. I believe Darien lost 18 starters from last year's team.
18 starters? No wonder they went undefeated.

And comparing it to a school nickname that's been in existence for decades (and used widely) is nuts.

Re: Top 25 - Week 6
Oh, and a slightly notable anecdote to add—I used that exact phrase “How bout them Ginny Cavs!” in Twitterville, and didn’t a certain well known Hoo alum who is still very active and visible in the lacrosse world “like” the tweet? If she doesn’t have a problem with it—why do youse? Another anecdote...

They should all be wearing the Goodale footwear, properly accommodated. Seems as if they're the PF Flyers of 2024. There's magic in 'em. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0hkXdb81VU Lots of girls would love to wear different cleats/turfs than they do but they’re stuck with the brand sponsored by the...

Re: Cleats vs Turfs
My HS daughter plays field hockey and lax. Both teams play on field turf (not the water astro turf the college FH teams play on). The FH coach will not let the players wear cleats, only turf shoes. Says its for safety reasons (knee injuries from cleats catching in the turf). While the lax team pret...

Then gap between D2 and D3 is even greater than the gap between D1 and D2. This seems like a broad brush. I bet the better D3 girls might have something to say about the gap to D2. Many chose their D3 schools for academic reasons in addition to strong lacrosse programs. Not true. the top 3 or 4 D3 ...

Despite the beat down, I wanted to say Wofford has one of the nicest grass fields I have seen. Looks like that thing has been barely touched. It's all that Panthers money from Jerry Richardson. I noticed that too. So nice looking I couldn't tell if it was turf! Clemson, take note!!! Really nice fac...
