After today’s (Thursday, 05.03.18) games, an updated 10% Ante Ranking and a couple comments:
• Despite several quality wins and numerous teams gaining and losing points, there were no changes in the positioning of the Top Ten.
• As expected, OSU, Villanova, Rutgers and others dropped several spots.
• St. Josephs beat Sacred Heart (510 Points), which did not earn them a lot of points but, with OSU dropping, St. Josephs took the #11 spot.
• Three weeks ago, Vermont lost to Stony Brook. Today, UVM beat Stony Brook and basically earned all those lost points back. Vermont moved from #19 to #14.
• UMass beat Hofstra (639 Points). Georgetown beat Villanova (1,291 Points) which, by the numbers, is twice as big a win as UMass beating Hofstra. UMass jumped from #20 to #18. G’town jumped from #21 over UMass to #17.
