#1 Duke* vs. #11 Denver*

Saturday, February 17, 2018
#1 UVM vs. Holy Cross – UVM is 3-0.  Their schedule is weak.  UVM’s first real test will be on 3/17 vs. Albany.
#3 Bucknell vs. Richmond – Bucknell is 2-0 with a weak early season schedule.  Their first real test is on 3/24 vs. Loyola.
#3 UNC* vs. #3 Lehigh – UNC is 2-0 and, after this game, will be 3-0. When this happens, Lehigh’s rank will drop.
#3 OSU* vs. Hofstra* – OSU is 2-0 and this is Hofstra’s first game.
#3 Rutgers* vs. #3 Army* – Both 2-0.  Both FanLax fantasy Lacrosse teams.
#3 Colgate vs. Cornell* – Colgate is 2-0 and this is Cornell’s first game.
#3 Maryland* vs. High Point – Maryland is 2-0 and should be 3-0 after this game.
#3 Michigan vs. UPenn* – Michigan is 2-0, this is UPenn’s first game. We’re curious about this game.
#11 Georgetown* vs. Robert Morris – Georgetown is 1-0 and should be 2-0 after this game.
#11 JHU* vs. Loyola* – JHU is 1-0. Loyola is 0-1 with an OT loss to UVA.  Both Baltimore and former National Champions.
#11 Syracuse* vs. Albany – SU is 1-0 but… This is essentially the first game for both these teams.
#11 UMBC* vs. Navy* – UMBC is 1-0 with a win over Richmond. Navy is 0-2.  Two good, not great teams.  Whatever
#11 Villanova vs. Yale* – Villanova is 1-0.  This is Yale’s first game.
#11 Virginia* vs. Drexel – When Virginia wins, they’ll be 2-0.
Penn St. * vs. Stony Brook – PSU is 1-1 with an OT loss to Villanova and, after this game,  will be 2-1.
Princeton* vs. Monmouth – This is the first game for both teams.  Princeton will be 1-0 after this game.
Fairfield* vs. St. Josephs – Fairfield is 1-0 and, after this game, will be 2-0.  Their first real test is 2/24 vs. Rutgers.
Towson* vs. Mt. St. Mary’s – Towson is 0-1 after JHU crushed them. after this game, they’ll be 1-1.

(Notre Dame* – No Game until 2/24)
(UMass* – No game until 2/24)

All the NCAA Teams fall into one of seven categories.  Teams that are (1) 3-0, (2) 2-0, (3) 1-0, (4) 1-1, (5) 0-1, (6) 0-2, and (7) 0-0.  Because it’s so early in the season and so few teams have played mutual opponents, each team can only be categorized within one of these seven buckets… and that’s about it.  With this in mind, if the people making the polls and rankings were intellectually honest, currently, these would be the top 21 teams:
