Ferris State started its season with a dominant 54-14 victory over Findlay at home on Thursday. It was the Bulldogs’ first game since the national semifinals in 2019.

The Bulldogs had a strong performance from quarterback Jared Bernhardt, a former NCAA Div. 1 Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Year. He had 6 total touchdowns (two passing, four rushing) in the first half to lead them to a 40-14 lead at halftime.

The Bulldogs will look to continue its 29-game regular-season win streak when they travel to Ashland on Sept. 11 for a 7 p.m. start.
