The 2020 Season was halted after the D1 Men’s teams had played between 4 (e.g. Yale, UVM, etc.) and 8 (e.g. Duke, Army, etc.) games.  And, even for the teams that played 8 games, those 8 games weren’t necessarily high-intensity games.  Bottomline, there’s a reason that players are getting an extra year of eligibility and the 2020 season is being treated as a non-season.  2020 is being treated as a non-season because… It was a non-season.  With this being the case, Why in heaven’s name are we announcing a Player of the Year?!
