The Northeast Conference (NEC) has announced that all spring sports conference play is suspended immediately through at least March 29.
“This is a prudent measure to ensure the health, safety and wellness of NEC student-athletes, coaches, administrators, fans and media,” said NEC Commissioner Noreen Morris. “We are committed to providing opportunities to compete for our student-athletes, but their health and wellness is our top priority. We will continue to monitor the latest developments on the COVID-19 virus with the well-being of our member institutions and their communities in mind.”
