And JHU08 answered with: “Yes, this is the first time ever that Hopkins has not received a vote in a poll since polling began in 1973. I checked it / did the research this morning. All occurrences of being unranked but receiving votes had occurred since 2010.
Polling began at the beginning of 1973 season
First time out of top 5: March 30, 1987
First time out of top 10: April 2, 1990
First time out of top 20: April 25, 2010
First time receiving no votes: March 2, 2020
