EVENT DESCRIPTION

Friday, Oct. 4
4 – 6 p.m., C-Lax Tailgate, Gravel Parking Lot by Park Center
Kick off the weekend with this casual pre-game gathering for alumni, parents and fans.  Bring your own refreshments and beverages; grills welcome. Alumni who register for this event will receive a pass to enjoy watching a portion of the NY Tech game from the Stephen J. Hunt ’72 VIP Lounge.

6 p.m., Red Dragons vs. NY Tech, Stadium Complex
Cheer on the current team as they face off against NY Tech, coached by Billy Dunn ’80. A small fee will be charged at the gate to support a charitable cause.

8:30- 10 p.m., Lacrosse Alumni After Hours, Central City Bar & Grill, 17 Central Ave.
Hang out with your former teammates at this festive downtown location. A private room has been reserved with appetizers compliments of Central City. A cash bar will be available.

Saturday, Oct. 5
9:30-10:30 a.m., Alumni vs. Current Red Dragons Game, Stadium Complex, Red Field
Alums are encouraged to take on the current team on their home turf. This game is suggested for graduates from 1990-2019.

10:30 a.m., Youth US Lacrosse Clinic, Cortland High School
US Lacrosse and the Cortland Youth Bureau will sponsor this clinic for boys and girls ages 6-13 years old. Proceeds will benefit the Cortland Youth Bureau. 11 a.m., Boys High School Lacrosse Clinic, Cortland High School
High School players (grades 7-12) will learn from University of Denver players and Cortland Legend coaches at this clinic sponsored by the Cortland Youth Bureau. Proceeds will benefit the SUNY Cortland Men’s Lacrosse program. 11 a.m., Lacrosse Golf Outing, Elm Tree Golf Course, 283 Ste. Route. 13
Alumni, parents and friends of lacrosse will enjoy a day out on a beautiful local course. Alumni planning on attending the C-Lax banquet can sign up for golf only. Those not attending the banquet have the option of adding a grill-your-own-steak dinner. Skins will be available at $20 per team onsite. Prizes for first place, second place, longest drive and closest to the pin; 75 prizes in all.

All proceeds benefit the SUNY Cortland Men’s Lacrosse Team. Hole sponsorships are available; contact Coach Steve Beville at 607-753-4993 for details. 

4 p.m., Lacrosse Legends Club Dinner, Corey Union Function Room
Join us as we celebrate the following individuals as they are recognized for their contributions to the sport of lacrosse:

A social will be held at 4 p.m. prior to the dinner commencing at 4:45 p.m. Coach Jack Emmer M ’70 will serve as the keynote.

7:30 p.m., Syracuse University vs. the University of Denver, Stadium Complex
These DI powerhouses go head-to-head on the Cortland campus. Lacrosse Legend Inductee Bill Tierney ’73 is head coach of the Pioneers. Five dollars will be charged at the gate to benefit Red Dragon Men’s Lacrosse.

9:30 p.m., Post Game Alumni Gathering, Dark Horse Tavern, 96 Main St.
This popular downtown spot will be full of Red Dragon alumni. Raise a glass to your favorite team memory. There will be a highlight video of Cortland Lacrosse throughout its history.

Sunday, Oct. 6
9 a.m., Draggin Draginz Alumni Game, Stadium Complex, Red Field
Alumni face off on Red Dragon turf. This game is suggested for Class of 1989 grads and earlier. The game will be an Olympic rules 6v6 modified game. No equipment is necessary; sticks will be provided for those who need them.

10:30 a.m., Farewell Brunch, Lynne Parks ’68 SUNY Cortland Alumni House, 29 Tompkins St.
Fill up on a warm breakfast while catching up with teammates one last time.
