Listed below are the D1 Men’s Lacrosse Preseason Top Teams based on data from 2019, graduating seniors, and incoming freshmen. 

# = Team’s Ranking based on Points Returning from 2019 (against their Top 8 Opponents) minus Points scored against the team (by their Top 8 Opponents).  These numbers will fluctuate based on the following numbers (below).
O =  Team’s Offensive Ranking based on Points Returning from 2019 (against their Top 8 Opponents).  These numbers and rankings will fluctuate based on players’ performing better or worse than 2019 as well as the contributions of “FR” and “FR2”.
D = Team’s Defensive Ranking based on Points scored against the team (by their Top 8 Opponents).  These numbers and rankings will fluctuate based on the teams’ defenses performing better or worse than 2019.  On occasion, Team Ds improve or worsen dramatically but, in general, Team Ds fluctuate up or down subtly.   
FR = Ranking of their top freshman offensive recruit.  For top recruits, it is common to contribute significantly to the their team’s offensive production.  None the less, as it is preseason, what the top freshmen will do is speculation.   
FR2 = Average Rank of their Top two freshman offensive recruits.  For top recruits, it is common to contribute significantly to the their team’s offensive production.  None the less, as it is preseason, what the top freshmen will do is speculation.
