Fun video. Saw this band Franz Ferdinand open for my Pixies and they were quite good. Knew this one song but had never seen the video- reminds me of something my boy Rene Magritte would’ve painted.
Allman Brothers, live album, new release, "Down in Texas", 1971. WOW! Been listening for over 50 years. Grateful to be living in the streaming era.

My daughter told me this morning - “for thanksgiving you should tell the lacrosse people about this song. It’s great and makes everyone happy!”
May not even totally true but it is a fun song and I do as instructed from the Chairman and CEO here so I present

Their best. Lots of good stuff there.
Could put black, animal and alive on rotation and leave it alone for years. (probably black between the other two for symmetry)
Alive ~ powerful song!
When I was in HS it was my favorite. Then black in college probably because I could get away with it in lieu of having to play DMB or Indigo Girls when “watching a movie” in my dorm rooms (the OG “Netflix and chill” college experience, post anything goes towards women college pre 1990).
Now I’d probably say Animal or Black. Animal is a song you play if you want the Jan 6th folks to succeed at the Capitol.
All this said, I’m guessing you never watched Eastbound and Down but it’s the greatest use of Alive ever here! (Last 45 seconds or so if you want to skip to
It in 3-4 min clip)
Never heard of the show before. But it's one heck of a funny clip. Thanks for posting it.
The character is a souped up version of John Rocker if you recall the Brave wildman reliever from 15 or so years ago- the next in line of Mitch williams/Rob Dibble types...
Here's the intro to the show which ran four seasons
