You have 4 teams @ 1-2 w pivotal matchups this week, Delaware going to Conn playing Fairfield. And, Hofstra trying to get out of a hole @ Towson. Monmouth off to a 2-1 start

For a while was maybe thinking MM was the best team on LI , we had some grt looks but their goalie stoned us and our goalie was outstanding as well , we need to fix our man-up plays , move on to towson , we'll see

Hofstra should offer a 100 dollar gift certificate for the book store for each home game a student attends , maybe that will wake them up to know there is an exciting sport to watch and give the crowd some juice and motivate the team

Weekend slate:

12p Hampton @ Monmouth
12p Hofstra @ Towson (-6.5)
1p Delaware (-6) @ Fairfield
330p Drexel @ Stony Brook (-2)

Will Towson and Delaware continue their march toward a season ending game for the #1 seed? Drexel-Stony Brook loser faces a tougher road to make post-season. Hofstra needs multiple wins vs top conference teams to make post-season. Can Stags beat Hens for first time in 6+ years? Does Monmouth run it up on Hampton in case post-season comes down to goal differential?

For Hofstra 2-0 the next 2 weeks puts them in a good spot. 1-1 they will have to have some good luck. It’s been a few years since they made the CAAs, big year for the staff to prove they still have a decent program.

Could any of you see Fairfield giving Delaware somewhat of a battle this weekend?

Only if Brick kills a guy…
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael

2022 Fairfield was tied at 12 after 3 quarters vs a peak Delaware team, losing by 2. 2023 Fairfield got routed at Delaware. 2024...The Stags were back and forth with Towson two weeks ago and outplayed Drexel last week. Saturday...certainly possible Fairfield gives Delaware a run.

Based on how Fairfield looked vs Towson and Drexel, yes. Or if they regress to play like they did in losses at Bryant and Sacred Heart, it could be ugly. I think the Stags will give them a run.

Cling on Robinson, because you know he’s hanging out waiting for the ball from Ward. Goalie plays seems better, looks they split time. Fairfield is aprox 49% faceoffs . Get some saves & win faceoffs you can play w any of these teams.

Not sure why none of these conference games are on Lacrosse TV.

The Fairfield game will be on Fairfield's free stream.

The announcers are brutal for the Hofstra Towson game. Hofstra also looks like a low level D1 team now, sad.

Well they looked way better in the second half. If Hofstra could play a complete game they could be a solid team. But they have yet to do that this year.

They are telling the truth. Hofstra lacrosse is a tire fire! 1-3 in conference. Hofstra is brutal. Have they played Hampton yet? Could be close.

It won’t be close with Hampton let’s be real. The fight for the 3rd and 4th spot can basically go to anyone at this point. Hofstra wins next week then beats Hampton. It’s likely a win and in scenario against stony brook. Unless there are some upsets the last few weeks.

If they don’t make the CAA, they really have to consider making changes to the program. No excuse to consistently miss the CAA.

They have some nice players. They go way too deep in the clock. Goalie was 30% early make a change you are 4-6. No sense of urgency. Ok your Paul Rabil friend, or Danowski asst on USA team. So what.

All accurate statements! I like the way a lot of their players, play. Especially the O guys. D needs some work but do not have a ton of experience. When the D is bad, they are really bad. And the offense seems to feed off the energy of the defense.
