It’s going to be like that Alabama - LSU sec champiosnhip game a few years back. I can’t think of any terrible similar lacrosse analogies except the 2004 Navy-Cornell quarters and the NEC championship in 2017 (reason number 783 that Raymond gots to go)

Gabe Fureys injury and John Dunphey inability to shoot seems to have hurt my teams midfield quite a bit.

Obvs dunphey has played week 7 but for week 8 can we sub Corsi in for him please. Just incase Princeton play early in week 8 again and I miss it

Not week seven topic per se but I’m lobbing up a recommendation up here to include Richmond next year. Not sure where they shake out in ten year RPI but at this stage they are pretty commitment better than UMass, Towson and Navy maybe some others (Nova?). Want to keep regional diversity and I’m guessing talking to hostile crowd by suggesting any Maryland based college be removed hut man they seem to have earned it more than a handful of teams we do include for a good while now and consistently.

Richmond history:

2014: 6-11, got AQ in first season
2015: 11-5
2016: 11-5
2017: 12-4
2018: 11-6, AQ
2019: 10-7, AQ
2020: 4-3
2021: 7-6
2022: 11-5, AQ
2023: 11-5, AQ
I mean zero losing seasons. Handful of big reg season wins. Last year they showed up pretty well in Rd 1. That makes their profile as a “top” team superior to a number of the ones we’ve got now.

I’m verklempt now so please discuss…

And truthfully in the above I would be bouncing UMass right now emotionally after the sloppy mess they left at Boswell field last Sat taking a dump on our team in Q4 and they may be the best target but Towson and navy sure look like they make sense as gems swap as well. Navy’s moderately better this year and still doesn’t feel like a strong contender for the PL title and Del has sort of p’owned Towson since 2019 which is five years now.
