Interesting to discuss close losses. Do we give credit to TLD for making it close with the 1927 Yankees of fantasy lacrosse? Or is a loss and loss?

At this point the threats look like TLD, Greenie and callax, maybe magnum.

Ohmi, we’re roll mad at you because you have a lot of UMass kids and the game yesterday has me convinced Raymond’s gotta go. Straight up he can’t be HC after a decade plus, leveraging one weak NEC title into a raise when Bates needed to be replaced at Pton. The kids demonstrated zero leadership and choke every time with a lead. That game vs UMass yesterday would’ve made my dad die if he didn’t a dozen years ago. Give your roster figure you saw some of it. Conversely I don’t know how you survived w Breyo and Tobin for so long other than that they feast on weaker comp.

Also how about Harrison and girls at 7-5 (4-2 & 3-3). Think they’re both on
Winning steaks too. Don’t worry my son will use kid gloves. Maybe throw Licata in (Vs at John’s or Marquette) instead of Angelus or King one week.

And would’ve been more impressive PA if you’d have gone negative. I can appreciate the strategy but is it fair to say you “quit” on the season and have already conversed to Jr? I’m asking so he can cross you off his kill list.

Fair to say our playoff hopes collapsed at 1-4 and we pivoted to a new strategy. Attack broke down with Connell losing his starting job and became just EMO, Matan also with Duffy and Petro taking over. Haley struggled with Navy.

Building a strong rostter is a multi year endeavor and the Trader draft year was a bust.

I’m having fun not being too serious with it, I get it. Probably want let Jr do it but that’s not a criticism different people and places in life. Imagine if we could trade kids???? Imagine me in control of a team out of it but with some pieces. You will never see spite trading like that in humanity.

Connell never did much w Denver after transferring. Interesting how that shook out.

Two interesting things on Jrs team.

He’s doing it basically w/o Dobson semis got less fantasy points than Spencer Wirtheim on our bench. Kurdyla showed up this what which helps.

He was in the semifinals last year and Yales D ended the season -35 pts. This YTD Dukes D is +15. Few more weeks but you’re talking a 50pts swing or plus 3-7 every week over last year.

Ok Matt, good to know we’ve discussed this and, obviously “D matters”. Haha. But, have you thought about changing the scoring methodology when it comes to the D component? Asking for a friend!! Haha. BTW, who is we? Again, asking for a friend!

It's been discussed once or twice over the past 21 years and we've always come out on the side of, What we're doing makes sense. What are you suggesting?

Maybe we can start a task force to research the issue....I nominate Ffg as chair!! Or, maybe deduct 1/2 a goal against the 10 points the D starts with for every goal scored thus slightly minimizing the impact the D has over the games?
