Also Caputo at Duke.

There is a real challenge in predicting who will successfully transition to HC from coordinator. It is a very different role. Some guys are wired to be the #2 and not the guy in charge - and they are GREAT as the #2.

I think Jon Thompson, new OC at UNC. Was HC at Amherst College for quite a while. Brought team to National Championship game. A great recruiter, and I mean great. When we went thru the recruiting process he was recruiting and committing D1 talent at Amherst. Very smart, will need to prove himself at UNC but i'm sure he will quickly.

Only one assistant in D1 Lacrosse has 7 rings and he was just fired. Good news for Denver and he has already helped them with a big win. Dave Metzbower
