my new top 20

1. CNU
2. RIT
3. Salisbury
4. Gettysburg
5. Dickinson
6. RPI
7. York
8. W&L
9. Lynchburg
10. St Lawrence
11. Swarthmore
12. HSC
13. Cabrini
14. Stevens
15. Babson

Tufts, Middlebury, Bowdoin, Amherst, and Union will be ranked somewhere in the top 20 as soon as they play. hard to say how good Tufts will be with what they lost.
CNU is playing better than anyone else
Salisbury is good, but not in sync yet. are there too many stars that don’t know how to play as a team?
Is RIT that good? or was Denison over hyped?
Gettysburg looked better than expected.

Good take here. I'm personally not sure what to make of Salisbury and CNU yet. Both look rusty in the early going. RIT might have the best win of the three after dismantling Denison.

I like Gettysburg at 5 (factoring Tufts into the top 4) after a really impressive show against Lynchburg.

What happened to Denison? Did they lose that much to graduation, such as the goalie?

RIT is going to cause problems for a number of teams this year. Deep, Athletic and experienced.

it looks like Denison is right where they left off. end of 2023 vs ranked teams.

10th rank york lost 16-8
11th rank lynchburg lost 14-8

start of 2024 lost to 3rd ranked RIT 22-8.

As the teams get better, they lose by a little more. At least they are consistently scoring 8
