Marquette 2024
I honestly think that, in-terms of wins and overall success, they are going to be one of the surprise teams of 2024. Coach Stimmel has recruited very well. With him being in his fifth season, even more of the talent will be his. While Marquette finished 6-8, they did beat both Michigan and Penn State. And they lost to Denver, Nova, and G-Town in high-scoring, thrilling OT games.

The Golden Eagles looked solid all-around in their 12-6 season-opening win against Air Force. Like I said, I think they will be one of the biggest surprising teams this year.

Regardless of how the ND game goes, I am still thinking the Golden Eagles are going to be a serious conference contender.

As I have said, I am sick of seeing those "Georgetown & the Rest" Big East seasons.coda wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2024 5:22 pmAgreed. Stimmel has resigned. Who will be next up in Milwaukee?

What about Andy German from Cleveland State? Good young coach that has done a great job at a small program.

I was thinking the same thing. And at a fellow program in the Midwest.Magbride14 wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2024 12:47 am What about Andy German from Cleveland State? Good young coach that has done a great job at a small program.
Re: Marquette 2024
Not surprised. Rumor was he lost the locker room. Great opportunity for a young coach. Hope for the sake of the Big East that Marquette can turn it around.
