I have truly no idea What the heck jhu06 is talking about re: Arteaga and Martin and jersey numbers and how that has anything to do with Ty Xanders, if anyone is able to translate. Might as well be speaking Aramaic

Xanders started with his portal scoops as quint noted 34 d1 teams are already done plus however many d3 teams and 2024 recruits might be having second thoughts. It's an ugly piece of this. I counted 28 guys on the roster who if I saw their number on a jersey I'd have to double check to find the name. Arteaga and Martin were not on that list of 28.

They absolutely need to play better. You cannot play not to lose like they had against Maryland. This waiting till the last 10 seconds to generate a good shot won't work against Notre Dame.

I agree, but this time last year I didn’t have them in the top half of the Big 10 and the watched them take over Homewood field for a couple of days. Do I expect them to repeat? Not this year. Hopkins is the best team in the conference, Penn State the most dangerous, and Maryland very good but not as good as in recent years. Loved the tournament last year and will miss it seeing it in person.

A great way for none of this to matter is to win tonight and win again on Saturday. That'd likely get us the #2 seed—#3 at absolute worst—with a chance to be #1 if ND loses to UVA and Cuse doesn't win the ACC tourney. Win tonight but lose Saturday and I think the #2 seed is still in play, but may end up being the #3 or #4. Long story short — beat the Wolverines.

Don't think the Ivy tournament has much effect on us. I don't see any of those teams surpassing us on the seed line.

Towson, Navy, Virginia, Georgetown, yes, we want them all to win.

Denver and Syracuse losing might help a little. I think we are well ahead of Denver at this point. Three spots ahead in the RPI and four more quality wins. That will be very tough for them to beat. Things are closer with Syracuse and they have more opportunities to move up than Denver does.

Maryland and Penn State — I disagree. We want Penn State to win to keep that as a top 10 RPI win. If they lose, they risk falling out of the top 10. Maryland is probably staying in regardless. I guess another angle is "who would you rather play in the B1G Final" but they'd both give us tough games, it's splitting hairs IMO. From a resume standpoint, PSU winning is probably slightly preferred.
