The Utah schedule for 2019 has been released. Utah at HU Saturday February 16th at 1:00.

Hofstra will entertain first year Utah early in the 2019 season. The Utah team will face some tough
traditional teams. Their schedule includes:

UVA swaps out Drexel for Dutch.
Expect a good long series, 17 years Cavs played Dragons.

UVA would be awesome addition. Haven't played them since Mother's Day Miracle in first round of 2001 NCAA Tournament when we rallied from 5 goals down in last 8 mins to win 15-14 in overtime. Right up there among my favorite all-time Hofstra sports wins.

Face off middie Anthony DeMatteo of Wantagh HS recently gave a verbal commitment for the
the HU Class of 2020. It's understood that DeMatteo was also a member of the football team.

Ryan Gallagher Face Off specialist for the past couple of years has transferred to the Univ of Penn. I
assume that he'll be eligible to take draws during the upcoming season. Not good news for fans of the
Flying Dutchmen.

Gallagher will have a tough time beating out Penn frosh Jamie Zusi. (Baptiste/Guerenlin trained fogo who switched from Denver to Penn) I looked at Penn roster and recruits and they have great depth of quality talent,

Gallagher might have just wanted to graduate with a an Ivy League degree. Nothing wrong with that.

We'll see how our new FO team performs tomorrow vs. Air Force and Bucknell.
