Three pro women's lacrosse promotions?

Post by totc »

So, we have Athletes Unlimited, going into Year 3 starting in late July of 2023.

Late last year Corrigan Sports formed two professional touring teams to play 10-v-10 games at its tournaments, under the name By The Pros. It had a number of players who played in Year 1 of AU, but were dropped for Year 2.

Last week, a traveling women's pro team called Unleashed played a team of Japanese players as part of an event which ostensibly was about the Premier League Lacrosse promotion playing Olympic rules against a men's team in Japan. Does this mean Paul Rabil is going to start a Women's Premier League?

Trying to figure out what the sam hill is going on here -- is there enough market share for three women's professional women's lacrosse circuits?

Simple answer is no to the three leagues. It’s hard enough to keep one league running.
