F&M at W&L Sunday at noon. Tough first game for both teams.

Just to get the conversation going, what’s your thought behind W&L coming up on top?

Quiet first weekend. Salisbury v Catholic and Roanoke v Denison look to be the only other ranked match ups.

F&M graduated a strong class in 2022 and ODAC can practice earlier than F&M. Lexington on grass is home advantiage for W&L.

Not a game on my initial radar but Messiah nearly lost to Scranton yesterday.

Roanoke rolled Denison, who seems often over-ranked.

W&L v F&M not as close as one would have anticipated.

W&L D and goalie were strong for the first game. F&M not so much.......I think earlier practices helped W&L get a head start but F&M needs to improve to be in the conversation this year. They have a good OOC schedule so let's see if/how much they get better. W&L with huge game v Salisbury next week. I think W&L is too athletic for Salisbury and wins that game too.

Well that Messiah Gettysburg game was pretty interesting. Gettysburg was dominated by them. And Messiah nearly lost to Scranton a few days before.

Early season jitters or some shake ups to come?

Gettysburg and F&M face off tomorrow for #1 seed in Centennial tomorrow. Bullets shaping up nicely with D starting to play very well. I think GBurg wins this one and wins the AQ.
