WP beat Cornell College (D3) this weekend. Final score was 18-4.
Webber beat SCAD 14-4.

Reinhardt by 1 over St. Ambrose: If St. Abrose pulls the upset it will be because their Georgia goalie dominates.
Keiser by 3 over TWU: I feel comfortable saying Keiser I just don't know by how much.
Cumberlands and WP: Unsure but could be a statement game for WP or could be Cumberlands by 5.
Agree with laxtea that I don't have faith yet in St. Andrews and see Greensboro winning. Could be by a few or by 8.

Good point about St. Ambrose, Hayes is a damn brick wall and is hard to score on. I think this could be a statement game for Ambrose, which is hard to say since they were top 3 for most of last year.

I was way off.
Statement game by Reinhardt whooping up on Ambrose 20-9. Reinhardt had 19 more ground balls than St Ambrose.
Same for Cumberlands in a 18-7 win. They were up 7-0 after the first. Ground balls, turnovers and face offs were pretty even.

Keiser over TWU 12-7.

Greensboro roughs up St Andrew’s 16-4.

Alma over Dearborn 12-4.

Just watched the WP Reinhardt game. Can someone tell me the logic of RU changing their goalie for the start of the second half while he is on a shut our? other one goes in and let’s 4 in in under 5 minutes. Stupid move by the Coach in my book.

It was 15-0 at halftime so I wouldn't say this was a stupid move at all. And BTW the starter came back in and let in four as well, granted in a much longer period of time. Coach probably wanted to get guys PT and one would assume, although I didn't check, that the defensive starters played little in the second half.

I didn't watch the game so I can't say if this is accurate or not but the box score here (https://naiastats.prestosports.com/spor ... 2_a3rt.xml) says the starter played 55+ minutes and did not have a shut out.

If it is as you say though and it was at halftime maybe the coach was trying to get playing time for others? I mean it was 15-0 at that point.

Either way I wouldn't say this is a stupid move at all.

That's honestly been a move from Reinhardt for the past few years. They hardly ever put in their backups when they're up by a lot, even when Snow was there. I just don't get it, like when you're already up big, why risk one of your players getting hurt?
Reinhardt did put in their backup goalie against WP, but then as soon as he let in 4 goals they subbed him out.

Notes: Nothing this weekend truly surprised me. I guess the closest thing is that Thomas More is struggling a bit more than I had pictured. I know it can be a struggle starting up a new team, but they should have been a bit more competitive against D&E. I also expected Indiana Tech to play better against Rockhurst, but Rockhurst is a solid D2 team.
