Long overdue as a topic
I’ll start it out:
Trying to teach my fairly intellectually curious son and somewhat less soo faughter (10 & 8) canasta but their focus is lacking. Any suggestions? It’s a great game to start building that strategic mind.

Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah

Re: Parenting
Got these board games for Christmas for my son
Professor Evil and the Citadel of Time - https://coopboardgames.com/cooperative- ... ime-review
Ans daughter
Corinth - https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/269725/corinth
Both are good but I’m enjoying Citadel of Time a lot and it appears to have some elements that remind me of lacrosse in terms of communication, teamwork and constant flow/movement of participants and the opponent (Dr Evil).
Worth checking out for board game folks or anyone who wants to help develop their children’s strategic minds.

A fraudulent intent, however carefully concealed at the outset, will generally, in the end, betray itself.

Go through this exercise with them, does not have to be a PB&J sammy. Could be a really fun time....Farfromgeneva wrote: ↑Sat Jan 14, 2023 12:29 pm Long overdue as a topic
