UDC Lacrosse 2023

Anyone have any insight as to what happened or is happening at UDC. The coach left earlier this month and majority of the team is in the transfer portal. I’ve also heard some players are registered but not playing lacrosse anymore. Anyone??

Sounds like the school is cutting the program but has not formally announced it yet.

UDC can not cut any sport without having another to replace it. They are currently at the D2 minimum of sports sponsored.

UDC is not cutting their program. From the sounds of it they are interviewing some pretty qualified candidates that are motivated. It will definitely be a rebuild and take some time not sure who exactly is left their but I know that guys like Zander Torres and Joe Cote Karson Gregory are all coming back. It sounds like from coaching friends in the ECC that they’re fully funded and have a ft assistant which is better then most.
