Notes:
* Montreat is playing a bunch of out of conference games this year, despite not playing at all last year? Are you guys truly ready to play that much, certainly being in the AAC.
* I’m excited to see William Penn playing some tougher games this season. With them playing some of the top AAC teams, it’ll show how good they really are.
* Interesting to see Clarke playing a fuller schedule, LaBelle is holding his team way too high up. More games = more losses.
* St. Andrews is playing Hampton????? Seriously, that should be interesting. Just because Hampton isn’t good, doesn’t change the fact that they’re all D1 athletes. Good luck, and you better not make NAIA look bad.
* Webber, if you're going to go to the Midwest to play some teams, why would you choose Saint Mary and Clarke? Play some tougher teams you wimps. You're always so mad you don't get the recognition you "deserve", so play some good teams to get that respect.
* Excited to see Concordia AA with a pretty decent schedule, I know last year wasn't so great for them but I think they'll look a bit better this year.
* I like that Taylor is benefiting from MVNU joining the Heart. Since teams from IA or MO have to go to Ohio for games, Taylor is getting some home games against some of those Heart teams.

* Will Westcliff and Multnomah actually play games this year?? Multnomah is going the MCLA route if I remember correctly, but they’ve been claiming they would be playing for the last few seasons without any results. Westcliff is playing an entirely AWAY schedule, let's see how difficult that will be towards their athletes.

Montreat – Could be a long year but I’m all for trial by fire.

St. Andrews – I applaud them on the out of NAIA games and look forward to the Hampton match up.

Clarke – The more games the better for all teams as far as I’m concerned.

I understand schedules can be difficult and there’s money involved in travel etc. but I’d love a few more games outside of the NAIA especially from the better teams. Good on Webber for scheduling Rollins. Good on St. Andrews for taking on Hampton. Kudos to Reinhardt for a taking on Georgia Tech last year and hoping it happens again this year. A Coker vs Reinhardt match up would be pretty fun. For NAIA lacrosse to gain more recognition they need some of the better teams to do a little more in the scheduling department.

I agree that the more games the better, but for some of these smaller rosters it could be detrimental if they get a player injured and miss out on conference games. So for Clarke, Montreat, Point, etc.; You would have to worry playing so many out of conference games, and potentially getting injured. Of course you need a few, but don't go 4-5 of them.

I would love to see more teams (with better rosters) play some of these non-NAIA schools. It would help get the NAIA name out there and show people that this league is competitive and worth their time too. I know the Midwest teams scrimmage a bunch of D2-3 teams in the fall, but I would like to see them play spring games against those same teams, and it actually count and mean something towards the league.

I would have to disagree about the Hampton game though, I just can't see it helping out the NAIA at all. I know that some of the better teams in the Midwest have played against Quincy (D2) and have lost, and they're not a great D2 team either. It's just a totally different game speed and IQ that NAIA teams haven't quite perfected yet. Maybe a Reinhardt could play them competitively, but not a St. Andrews. I think if we're going to have teams playing other leagues, they need to be teams that can actually compete with them. If not, I could only see it hurting us, and not helping at all.

All good points and I don't necessarily disagree with any of them.

Thanks for adding that! I'm quite intrigued to see Reinhardt vs Ambrose early on. I'm sure Reinhardt will win, but it's one that hasn't been played since the '18-'19 season. That was when Ambrose first started their varsity program, and they have came a long way since those early days.

Wow, you're not lying. Those first few games will definitely show us who the fighting bees really are. They did beat Indiana Tech last year before having to forfeit the game, so they could possibly win 3/4 of those tough games if they play well enough.

******** UPDATED SCHEDULES

Notes:
* Glad to see a lot of teams playing Thomas More this season!
* Indiana Tech is going to be playing two D2 teams early on in the season, hopefully it'll prepare them for their kryptonite (Reinhardt).
* MVNU is playing some tougher teams this season, traveling up to play a less than hopeful D'youville and Wilmington at home. I guess it's better than playing against some crappy D3 teams like they usually do.
* Multnomah still doesn't have a schedule up, and I'm pretty sure they have less players than the last time I checked... So, when do we just cut the rope and give up on them?
* Excited to see Ambrose play some tough games early on, with 4/5 of them being against ranked teams. The other being Taylor, which should be familiar with Ambrose because they've played them the past few seasons there in Grand Park indoor complex.
