If Twitter Implodes

Does it bring back the glory days for message boards? The demise of Laxpower corresponded pretty much at the same time as the rise of "Lax Twitter". Over the past few years, when it's not springtime there's not a lot of chatter on this site outside of the D1 thread and a few other sections of the site. Twitter has a lot of lacrosse talk year round. If Twitter swallows itself do you think people find their way back over here, or is this type of format just too old school for the under 40 crowd?
