2 minute unreleasable had no impact on the game. Shot clock is probably coming. Not sure what the rest means

Sounds to me like he is suggesting a 2 minute unreleasable penalty for going early on faceoffs. You twitch once you sit for 2.
Something tells me this idea will not get much traction.

(It also sounds like he thinks kids are winning faceoffs by going early. However if they are winning the faceoffs they clearly are not being called for violations).

Adopting the NCAA rule of a 30 second penalty after 3 violations would be fine. 2 min unreleasable is very harsh

Girard is so good it can actually look like he goes early but he's not. Like many great athletes he is so smooth and quick that it looks too easy sometimes. Not even sure that's who he's talking about but it would be a good guess

Agreed. 2min non releasable for a faceoff violation would be overkill. Receiving a 30 sec penalty after 3 violations (per a half) seems appropriate,
After watching yesterday's game, I'm hoping a shot clock is on the horizon.

No one ever swept A-D, because that’s only been around for 5-6 years. 2015 Nassau swept A-C with Syosset, Manhasset, CSH. Suffolk last sweep of A-C was 2007 with WI, Huntington, SWR.

Is the goalie going to Duke? I probably shouldn't be surprised, I knew little about Farmingdale which is my own fault, bevause that's a very good team
Ipolitti is going to Syracuse.

So Ippoliti and a middie on Farmingdale both transferred back from private schools this year, playing key playoff roles. Hopefully more kids who are playing minor roles on the All-Star teams known as St Anthony’s and Chaminade follow suit in the future. Although Chris is wishing this started next year

I just hope we can partake in the transferring back thing in the future!

So Cold Spring Harbor is officially part of Nassau for lacrosse purposes :D ?

So long as they remain members of Section VIII

I believe they are part of Nassau County Section VIII for all sports, not just lacrosse.
Geographically, they are located in Suffolk County on the borderline with Nassau County and are part of the Town of Huntington which is also Suffolk County).

It's worth noting that kids from Lloyd Harbor, in Nassau, are zoned for CSH. So it's not a Suffolk-only district.

Also, if CSH ever joined Section XI, it would not play many league games against nearby Section XI schools because most of them are A in lacrosse and AA in 5 class sports. They'd have to travel out to the Hamptons way too often.

Perhaps that explains why they are where they are

Not to quibble but just so the record is correct Lloyd Harbor is, in fact, in Suffolk County, Town of Huntington. Wikipedia and no less a source than my sister who has lived, and more to the point paid taxes there for many years, are in agreement on this.

I do believe that for years CSH did play as a Suffolk team. It was found to be impracticable. Purists, as such as myself, may not approve but a special dispensation seems to have been given.

Oh man you are right. Why did I think it was in Nassau? No idea.
