Scientists don't know squat about what the planet will do. You are correct the planet will do what it wants to do. If you think think science or scientists can change that fact... go ahead and keep fooling yourself. After all according to AOC...we only have 11 and a half years left anyway. :P
Who is AOC? Which issue of Nature was this AOC published?

Happily, you'll be dead. But what about your children's children? You seem to always, relentlessly associate a belief in climate change with a political agenda, and dismiss it in a faux-homespun manner that hardly hides your strange predilection for dismissing facts, trends and pretty obvious changes on the ground. You should keep these posts of yours in an archive somewhere, so that your grandchildren will be able to say, "Granddad was right about all that hooey"...or "Jesus, Granddad was a complete pumpkinhead."

this sounds a lot like religious dogma: "what if you are wrong?".... "what if scientists have correctly predicted... temperature rise of 4-6 degrees."

The problem is, people have heard the claims before, and to many it is starting to sound like chicken little. 20 years ago Al Gore told us we had a decade..... So this time we really mean it??

It is a shame, because we really should be better stewards of our planet - it's the only one we have. But money, politics and a religious fervor has taken over the dialogue (like virtually everything these days) and now we can't have reasonable conversations....

It may sound to you like "religious dogma," but rest assured I am a religion-free zone. This is about playing the odds with the basic infrastructure that keeps the planet and the human race alive; I make no appeal to any dogmas.

You don't have facts. You have .9 degree increase of surface temp in 100 years. The rest of your claims are based on 32 GOVERNMENT generated computer models. And the planet just isn't behaving according to those models.

Yawn.

More financial mastrubation from the pretends. Donating to your OWN "charity"

Get back to us when you read ANY proposals that include mandatory US production of said "clean/green/renewable" equipment from Bloomies new toy

https://www.beyondcarbon.org/

Cleaning of solar panels, snow/ice coverage, mowing grass, installation of panels (concrete pads, steel, etc ) transportation..... Fencing install and manufacturing. As per usual pretend non$en$e, not ONE mention of USA produced products. More China made, suicidal slave children produce profits.

GUess Bloomies daughter will be riding an electric pony instead of a $Million dollar jumper animal. Whats Bloomies horse carted around in? An F350 diesel or a RAM? exactly . Also, don't ask about Bloomies housing infrastructure. How he gets his energy.

It's ONLY the hypocrites honey.

https://pagesix.com/2018/12/26/bloomber ... daughters/

“There are heavy trucks going in and out all day,” one local said. “It looks like they are building another World Trade Center.”

What's that, not ONE solar panel or windmill on ANY of the Giving pledgers properties? exactly. Hypocrites.

Self dealing? Wrong thread for it, so won't poke the monkey. (ball washing, back stratching, group hug, self dealing non-profits.....non-profits do own investments, don't they  )

BUT.....you think Bloomberg and his self dealing ;) new, shiny $500 million lobbying efforts will mention any of the advice that his own publication published?

https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/artic ... s-are-made

The U.S. does still seem to be fertile ground for starting innovative energy companies; it came in fifth -- behind four countries with much smaller gross domestic products -- on the 2017 Global Cleantech Innovation Index, which attempts to measure "where, relative to GDP, entrepreneurial clean technology companies are most likely to emerge from over the next 10 years."

Been saying for decades.......you CARE about fellow humans and the earth, but allowed CHina , Vietnam.....the Pacific Rim...... let them pollute and commit horrendous labor rights violations (low pay, NO ot or benefits, long hours, etc ) because YOUR mutual fund went up? And, your neighbors jobs went bye bye.

ALL renewables made in the USA. If not, huge tariff for overseas production that doesn't comply with US employment and environmental standards. This is exactly what Hillaryous Clinton said during her March 5th talk to the Shamut bank cartell ;)

"To say that Donald Trump's jaw-dropping display of environmental ignorance while in the United Kingdom is an embarrassment to all Americans would be an understatement. But the worst part of his ramblings about how we have "among the cleanest climates there are based on all statistics" isn't that it sounds like the ramblings of a Fox News addict. It's that his administration is doing everything it can to work towards the opposite: dirty water, dirty air, and, well, a very dirty climate."

r's and scientific facts don't mix.

Donald J. Trump
‏@realDonaldTrump

For all of the money we are spending, NASA should NOT be talking about going to the Moon - We did that 50 years ago. They should be focused on the much bigger things we are doing, including Mars (of which the Moon is a part), Defense and Science!

How is the Moon part of Mars???

Deplorable
