Game thread: Both teams hold serve today (Princeton getting past PSU on a goal with under a minute to play) to set up this game of unbeatens. ESPN+.

Will Loyola have midfielders Nos. 11 and 13 back? Should be a very good game at Ridley.

Didn't see the Loyola game today. Saw it was 8-0 after 1 then tied for the next 3. Did the bench get emptied?

Hounds were sharp in the first half, a little less so as they eased to the win. Emptied? Not really, but they seemed to cycle in a lot of players today.

Moderate to Heavy Rain today/tonight in Balmer. Does that affect either team?

Fairly nasty weather conditions for the game tonight. Rain with temps in the mid 50’s with 10-15 mph winds. Maybe even thunderstorms which could really put a damper on things.

I may be in the minority, but I think this is a relatively easy win for Loyola. Can't discount that Princeton missed out on 1 & 1/2 years of lax

Several good games this weekend including Michigan vs. Northwestern and Maryland vs. James Madison, but none bigger than today's P'ton vs. Loyola (at Loyola) game. Should be fun. :)

The Ivies are taking D1 Men's lacrosse by storm. The Ivies time off did not hurt them and, seemingly, made them stronger.

You’d never know it by the way they’ve played thus far.

I think it'll be really close. Princeton is too disciplined to let it get away.

8MPA, serious question: why do you think so?

yeah...I am really not feeling a win today. Fish seems to always play well against Loyola and Sears torched them for 7 points the last time they played.

Yeah. I get it. The reason I asked 8MPA why he thought Loyola would cruise (my words) is that I think these are really well-matched teams, in terms of star power (Sears and Rosenzweig; Donovan and Detwiler; etc.), discipline, good goalies, competent defenders, good offenses. In my stupid poll, I have them 6 (Hounds) and 7(Tigers) -- I could have gone either way.
