2022. how schools are left

Post by LaxCoach13 »

Looking at the NJCAA sight they only list 8 junior college women's lacrosse teams and at least one of them I know is not fielding a team this year. What has happened to the JUCO's? Does anyone have a list of what JUCO's are actually fielding a team this year

There have been slim numbers in JUCO for a couple decades. But the proliferation of D1 women's lacrosse in the past 10-14 years has really drained the talent pool from the women's college game at subsequent levels.

Seeing some of the local recruits who are getting D1 offers now, it seems like if you have a few years experience, or play on a HS or club team in an upper league or hotbed, you are likely a D1 candidate.
