Request for an Athletes Unlimited forum, please?

Post by totc »

Hi, all.

Can we get an Athletes Unlimited forum on the women's side? There seem to be some issues in the startup. There are 30 games over five match weekends in July and August, but for some reason you can only buy tickets for five dates.

The metrics of how players are rated have not been released and we're only nine days from Opening Day. I'm guessing the usual stats will be used -- goals, assists, draw controls, caused turnovers, and playing on a winning team. But will that allow a defender (Garvie, Falcone, etc.) to become one of the four team captains the next week? Or a goalie or a DC specialist?

Mods, feel free to move this message if need be.

WEEK 5, GAME 29 1 2 3 4 OT
TEAM GLYNN
2 2 1 1 1
TEAM OHLMILLER
3 1 0 2 0

I realize there are differences in rules for womens lax but couldn't understand why the defender was assessed a penalty and a shot allowed at the 8M line. All the D was a stick check but referee called a hold. Alyssa Perrella took the shot and scored the winner. A very entertaining game that ended in OT.
