Bad scheduling by Adelphi. I am sure Coach Purdie tried to get a game in before, but the Panthers went 2 weeks with a scrimmage or game.

I also don't know why Northern teams start their season playing southern teams. Most of the time the Northern team has been stuck indoors because of weather, while the southern team has been outdoors for 2 months.

The only positive is that the losses are out of region and won't figure heavily into NCAA seating.

i have little doubt that they'll be around come May but... tough way to start the season. maybe it'll inspire them.
