2020 Fantasy League ONE Draft

As of July 1, the Draft will start in or around the Fall, one pick per day (with each coach having 24 hours until the next coach can pick and 48 hours until the relevant coach loses their pick), and will run from Last to First. i.e. This is the Draft Order:
1 Typical Lax Dad
2 EZE
3 CalLaxDad
4 WeWantMore
5 HipandKneeDoc
6 NJLaxx11
7 Stegmakk
8 Redbirds Metro
9 TartanLax1822
10 ohmilax34
11 GCCLax
12 Maddog
13 Matnum PI
14 PA Talk
15 UK Lax
16 OCanada
17 GreenieLax
18 FCALax
19 NC Lax
20 GenghiskhanBluejay
With one caveat that, like this season, if new coaches are added, the new coaches pick first and get one pre-Draft pick.

Why would we add more coaches? 20 seems about right.

For no better reason than... We have a waiting list. The more the merrier. For the same reason that we added 2 this past season.
In theory, emphasis on theory, we could add 8 more coaches and have two leagues with 14 coaches each. Maybe even a, so to speak, Series A and Series B leagues where, at the end of the season, the bottom 2-3 teams in the Series A are dropped to Series B and the Top 2-3 teams in Series B are lifted to Series A. Or, forget the ups and downs, just have a second league. Or, in theory, we could add 4 more coaches and add several more NCAA teams. Or... I'm sure we could do this 100 different ways. Or, in theory, we could let our waiting list be a waiting list.

I like the idea of relegation and promotion. Go ahead and do it if you want.

I think if we add more coaches the pool of teams to select from should be increased as well.
But, an even number probably works best

I agree that if more coaches are added we 100% need a few more teams to pick from then... all the best fantasy games work when there are leftovers players rather than fighting around for minor players and they bring good discussion points on who was missed too haha.
I do like the idea of relegation and promotion.
I think at this stage the single league is big enough so we either leave the waiting list as is or if we expanded definitely add a new league and increase the pool of teams by 4 maybe?

I find your position reasonable. The league imo gets to big at 20 without adding new teams. I don’t care for the the new teams are rewarded but it’s what it is
I think two leagues with a max size of 16 or so with no new teams appealing
How did the teams rewarded with a predraft pick finish last season ?

The current plan is for the Draft to start on either September 15th or October 1st.
We have 20 coaches. 5 people expressed an interest in coaching. I just posted an invite for more coaches. Let's see what the final number of coaches is and then we'll move from there.

I will be in Sicily for part of the draft. I might luck out if it starts the 15th. If not I will have to mail in the first pick.
While there I will be meeting with my in laws relatives. If someone gets my first choice ahead check your car starters because my Sicilianis.
I will probably have an international card and might be able to keep up
