Believe the team reported already to campus and will begin fall workouts soon, soo I wanted to get some discussion going.

As uslaxmag posts, 2024 is kind of a prove it year for Toomey and the team. After this season they lose so many key pieces.

In an interesting note, staudt’s bio states he didn’t play at all in 2021 due to an injury, so perhaps he does get one more year back

Yes big year. Lose Poitras, Higgins, James, Heuston up front as well as a couple key defenders. Pacheco is key here. Can he get above 50% on draws v good teams? Youth needs to come through. Houlihan and Ramon are now juniors. Need guys like Murphy, Haberman, McGorry, Cote and McCullough to take the next step. Time will tell.

All 8 of those grad students are ones you want sticking around.

Lots of potential. But I agree with the way too early rankings - "Prove it."

Did anyone mention the transfer of Remmy Reynolds from Rutgers?

Good get at LSM for Loyola. Rutgers had him at SSDM last year. Perhaps an attempt to get him on the field more? The kid's playing style should fit in real well at Loyola.

Fairfield and High Point. Sunday, Oct 15, I think. Or maybe the 22nd.

Between grad students and seniors this team will lose 19 players next year. I believe the only Seniors who will be able to return as fifth years are Lindsay and Staudt (injury red shirts). Team need the youngsters to step up this year.

As for scrimmage I heard Villanova and High Point.

As for the schedule, I’ve heard unconfirmed rumors that the opponents will change. Believe UMD and hopkins will still be on, not sure of any others

Great player, watched his career at Gilman and he was a dominant close defender his senior year after playing LSM. Has lots of game experience playing LSM and SSDM at Rutgers so he should be game ready from day 1.

Will be interesting to see where he plays. Ssdm or LSM. My guess is LSM.

Loyola has a track record of just reloading with studs in both those positions.

Loyola really is LSM U.

Now all we need is a faceoff transfer.

Confirmed teams for fall ball day at Ridley on October 22nd

Loyola, high point, Fairfield, villanova.

No faceoff transfer unfortunately Kram but I believe the staff has hopes for Pacheco to figure it out along with Sawyer Allen.

Carson hall, the new freshman should get looks too. Their 2024 guy evokes shades of bailey savio

Schedule will be the same…. Only change is that GTown will be a game in Feb.

Reynolds will be an LSM.

If G town is in February, then where does that replace one of the other OOC games in that month (UMD, JHU, Rutgers)?

He transferred to play LSM at Loyola. Rutgers has a few poles the staff likes and wanted to keep him at SSDM. With the style of play the rope unit are expected to play, it probably wasn't the best spot for him though he performed serviceably. He is a good athlete, solid LSM and should play immediately in that role. I'm told he is good to have in the locker room too. Good luck to him.

Given you’re connected to Rutgers, is there any word on the game between our two schools next year? They signed a 4 year contract after 2018, and all 4 years of games have been played (19,20,22 and 23)

With the rumor of Georgetown switching to now a February game, where would that potentially leave Rutgers?

Poitras should be viewed this year the way Matt Campbell was perceived last year at Villanova on a national level.
Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah
