It is the real Trump apologists and normalizers and generators of false equivalencies that should get your condemnation. We have to find enough common ground with folks in the center and center right to remove this President.

I may not like John Kelly's politics, but I don't doubt his commitment to the Republic or the Constitution. My guess is the WH-PS hasn't read the Constitution all the way through once in her life. World Series fans booed Trump on the day he made a bizarre, partisan announcement of the Baghdadi mission.

There were no spontaneous celebrations at West Point. No joyful celebrations in front of the White House. There certainly weren’t any shouts for joy at the baseball stadium. If Trump thought he would bask in the kind of admiration and jubilation that followed Obama’s termination of Osama bin Laden, then he must have been bitterly disappointed.

Fact is, Nixon ended active U.S. military operations in Vietnam and that wasn’t even close enough to save him from Watergate. The Baghdadi mission won’t do much for Trump. Come Monday morning, the focus will once again be on the House Impeachment Inquiry, just where it belongs.

The only way Trump would have ever been applauded there is if the Jumbotron showed him drinking something laced with arsenic. DeGeneres is right. Unfortunately that’s the America we live in today.

FACT - There was lots of celebrating in a little enclave on an army post just outside of Fayetteville, NC, but it was a quiet celebration by quiet professionals. The preference of most of them is really good bourbon.
