gymman1031 wrote: Sun May 14, 2023 5:15 pm I know several of you, and for good reason, have a soft-side for Holy Cross coach JL Reppert. So, here is my question:

Kevin Warne, a former assistant of John Tillman's at Maryland, got things rolling at Georgetown when he had most to all of his own players.

Kevin Conry, also a former Tills assistant at Maryland, has done the same at Michigan.

Could JL Reppert, yet another current head coach who was with John at Maryland, make it a trifecta, regardless of how soon, at Holy Cross?
No
For those of you who have your doubts regarding Reppert, is a big reason that Holy Cross doesn't have much of a lax history and that it is a hard sell for recruiting?
Agree. JL has challenges at HC that the others did not face at Georgetown & Michigan.
I hope they give him the time & resources which he will need.
Word is that Holy Cross does not have scholarships for lacrosse. If so, what a shame! That program has potential.

Good luck to Coach Wellner and Notre Dame on Sunday. I am sure it will be a familiar but also strange feeling being back at NMCMS where he spent 8+ years. The Navy family will be cheering you on from near and far.

Man, I hope the next time we see a Patriot League squad in the Quarterfinals is Navy in the near future!

Wow, folks! Could former Navy assistant Ryan Wellner have performed among the best defensive coaching-jobs in a title game in some time today?

John McCurry - incoming '23 - won the scoring title in NJ HS lacrosse. He led all players in NJ with 140 pts on 76 goals and 64 assists.

his team lost in the group 2 championship game to powerhouse Summit, 9-7.

as a jersey guy, looking forward to seeing him with the Mids!

IL is reporting Ghobriel is in the portal. Seems like an odd decision, something must be up.

Report from the front line : Another Navy Player has entered the portal and a third may soon follow.

Word on the recruiting circuit is that three more Navy commits may de-committing.

It's a dumpster fire folks.

Enjoyed seeing the USA win last night.

I saw Isaac Cruz de-committed a few weeks ago, and posted last week he is heading to Princeton.

Who are the other two?
