No idea what to think of Salisbury after the Stevie game.Neither goalie was seeing the ball very well but Poust was bad in the first half. The only thing you can say is that Salisbury was putting the ball to his off side. Salisbury offense was transition off of the face off and man up. The settled offense was non existent . Stevie offense was just as bad other than some slick 1v1 around the crease. Clearing was bad for both sides. Sloppy sloppy game.
CNU handled Williams with ease. Williams was supposed to be a top NESCAC! Given what I saw Salisbury is going to have a rough time with CNU. But then there is always that mystique. Stevie never has cared much about that. We will see if it is an issue for CNU.

Feel as if Salisbury plays up/down to the level of their opponent this year. Also offense is just one man team and 1v1 dodging. Works now until they play an opponent that has some decent 1v1 defense. Looking forward to CNU game vs the Gulls

There is nothing to indicate that Williams is a top team. Top 30 yes. Top 20, possibly. Top 10, absolutely not.

I see Williams in the Top 20. And, in a division with 250 teams, that's pretty "top".
Beating RPI, Trinity, Conn College, and Colby and their only losses are to the tippy-top teams of Union, Bowdoin, and CNU. That's not so bad...

Not at all. They haven’t played anyone even above average. Time will tell. But I don’t see them as competing for anything beyond top 15

No losses (which you recognize) and they beat Middlebury, Wesleyan, Hamilton, Western New England, and some teams that are, I agree, not impressive. First, to me, Top 15 is good. That aside, I like Bowdoin's Ws. I'm not ready to bet my house on them but I look at them and think, Hmm.

Naz is much better than they have been in a while. I’m not surprised that they gave Fisher a bit of a battle today. D3 in Upstate has taken a tick up.

I agree top ten is clear IMO but after that there is a laundry list of teams that can be in the following spots. Regardless of who gets those spots there will be teams that get "Snubbed"

This entire process is lots of art and only a little science, which is what makes it fun, but I cannot bring myself to rank Tufts ahead of a team that just smoked them by 7 goals.

It’s amazing how much the order the games are played matters.

Look at a program like W&L, if their schedule was backwards they would start the year 11-2 with losses to Gettysburg and CNU and be undefeated in the ODAC, holding CNU to the their lowest goal total on the year. They’d likely be ranked 8-10 and people would have made up their minds they are a top 15 team. Much like the opppsite of F&M or Cabrini. However they’ve played the #2 schedule nationally and are 6-5, many struggle to rank them. Middlebury went through something similar but notched a more marquee win this week.

Anyways, they (W&L) are imo only an 18-RV type of team right now. Things will always even out.
