From what I was told, he felt it was time. Had been there a long time, paid very little to do a lot of "other duties as assigned." He has a bunch of kids going off to college, I think one or more is in the south. MK is one of the good guys, wishing him the best at Guilford.

Wondering about the same thing for Wilmington. There has to be a reason why they can't hire. No knowledge, just that they seem to be a struggling program.

It's just not a great school, and they aren't good at anything; that's why Wilmington struggles. They've never been able to recruit, and it pays maybe $40k.

Hiram is hemorrhaging money. It's a marginal school - 90% + admission rate and 50% grad rate. That's a recipe for disaster. The school itself is in danger of closing.
