Too late for me. I already did. Waited til I turned 70. Now I have to see if the bet pays off.
I took mine early at 65. I did a poor man's Monte Carlo analysis of my situation and 89 was the break-even age of death for me by waiting for more social security income at 70. Also started maximizing out annual traditional to Roth IRA conversions.
