Boy looking at all the nonsense tossed my way a year ago and yet St Joes goes 10-5 and did just fine as I said in the A10. MSM walks into the MAAC and is 7-2 in conference, 1-6 outside. And Bryant won the AE with a new coach and massive turnover of talent.

Good call fellas.

If the release looks anything like Yaz' tweet then the school is low rent. Not the way to do it.

Don't know the details, but on the surface this move is a headscratcher. TG gave everything to that program...and yes, the school is a tough recruiting spot. The MAAC is right where they should be and TG, as has been mentioned, has had good success vs "like" schools. Sounds like it has ended poorly given his son(MAAC rookie of the year) entered the portal. As FFG has stated, would love to see them both in Geneva!

The Mount should go after current Navy OC Mike Phipps! He knows the regional hotbeds for talent well. He has had good runs at Navy, Georgetown(was associate head coach there), and High Point. He also knows the Mount program well, as he coached against it while both at Navy and Georgetown.

Can they afford Phipps. My understanding Navy dropped a lot $$$ to get him.

Gravante has the same coaching DNA as Tambroni, Galloway, Seremet and Chemotti. He would flourish at a more attractive school.

Former Gtown prep coach kevin giblin was an assistant there. Could he step in?

He’s got the same DNA as Tambroni for sure as Bart alums. Or do you mean CNY?

The new incoming AD has a lacrosse background- was chair of the D2 NCAA lacrosse committee Merrimack and Mercyhurst background. Timing seem weird though- he does not start til August?

Thinking the next coach will be a highly-respected assistant at a major DI program.

Yes, he is a possibility. But there are others, too.

Going to throw out a curve ball.......Wes Speaks, current HC at SJC High School. Ex Associate HC and DC from Gettysburg, strong CV, http://dcelitelacrosse.com/about

Wow! Good thinking! AND, St. John's College has had a nice pipeline with Mount St. Mary's.

Heard Brian Holman, who started Utah's program and is a local product, is also being mentioned for the Mount job.

Hearing from someone connected to the school that who ultimately conducts the search(outgoing AD vs Incoming AD(who begins in Aug)) will be a huge factor on who the candidates are as they have very differing views on who they want to go with
